Rough change
Ann Betty Barmen + Joakim Sumstad
Ann Betty is a cool lady in her prime, and she came into the salon with a well-grown hairstyle.
She has high cheekbones and nice eyes, so with the hairstyle she had she disappeared a little.
The plan for Ann Betty was to give a more rough and typey hairstyle that would highlight her fine features, but which she could also easily style at home herself.
oakim first used a light cleansing shampoo and conditioner from Kerastase, for good care and shine. When he started the coloring he added a more golden brown tone to the base and freshened up the streaks she had, in addition he wanted to stay more in the golden tones which are more flattering to her skin tone.
Then he cut it shorter at the nape of the neck and on the sides to emphasize the hairstyle more. He finished with both sebastian's texture maker, which gives a nice texture to the hair and roughens it up a bit, before going over the hair with Redken's finishing spray to give the hairstyle hold and gives almost a slightly tousled feeling.
Ann Betty really wore the new, shorter and tougher hairstyle and the color really brought out her fine features.
